Becoming Catholic

Becoming Catholic

“You have made us for yourself, O Lord, and our heart is restless until it rests in you.”
– Saint Augustine

RCIA at St. Peter (Fulton)

How do I become Catholic?
What is the RCIA?
So, is RCIA a “class”?
I was raised in another Christian faith. Now I’m thinking about becoming Catholic. Is RCIA for me?
I was baptized in another Christian faith. Will I be baptized again?
What if I start the process and decide it’s not for me? Or I’m just not ready at this time?
How long is the process?
I’ve heard people who have been through RCIA talk about having a sponsor. Do I need a sponsor? What is the role of a sponsor?
Who can be a sponsor?
Can my spouse or fiancée be my sponsor?
When does RCIA meet?
That night doesn’t work for me…now what?
What about attending Mass?

Do you have more questions?

Are you thinking you may want to take this next step in your faith journey?
